The Kinesio® Foundations course is presents the concepts and techniques of Kinesio® taping, the development of the Kinesio® Taping Method, fundamental concepts, assessments and screening tests, along with advanced techniques and clinical reasoning.

Program objectives:
Upon program completion, participants will:
- Identify best uses for each type of Kinesio Tex Tape.
- Describe and demonstrate cutting at least 4 tape shapes (I, Y, Web, X, etc.). And explain when to use different tape cuts.
- Demonstrate KMT, EDF, and Kinesio Assessments.
- Demonstrate Safely remove Kinesio Tex Tape from skin de.
- Use Kinesio Screening Assessments to target tissues.
- Apply proper Epidermis, Dermis, and Fascia taping techniques.
- Perform corrective techniques: Fascia, Mechanical, Space, Functional, Lymphatic, Tendon, Ligament, Muscle.
- Differentiate underactive vs. overactive muscle corrections and ligament vs. tendon corrections. And identify appropriate tension ranges for each technique.
- Demonstrate advanced techniques: Web Layering (Epidermis), Jellyfish (Dermis), Basket Weave (Circulatory Lymphatic), Scar Management (Space Correction).
- Integrate Muscle Direction Tests, Screening Assessments, and Corrections to treat complex injuries (e.g., Whiplash, Shoulder Impingement, Chronic Knee Pain).
- In small groups, identify problems and goals from case studies, develop tape interventions, and present them.
- Apply the Kinesio Medical Taping method to muscular, orthopedic, and neurological conditions.

Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner Requirements: Passing the final written online exam.
Pass mark: 80%
Exam retakes: one time exam retake for free. Then the exam fee is 99 $.
Certificate renewal/reaccreditation Annual membership fee.
